| Kyle began his gymnastics career in 1986 at Pancotts Gymnastics in Malvern, Pennsylvania; mentored by John Pancott (a former British Olympian,) and Joe O’laughlin, Kyle achieved the status of Elite gymnast. Kyle continued his gymnastics training with Coach Brian Babcock, a former U.S. National Team member and U.S. National Champion. Kyle later earned a spot on the U.S. Jr. National Team and after graduating from high school Kyle continued his career as a scholarship athlete for the University of Illinois Men's Gymnastics Team. Kyle was honored as a nominee for the George Nissen Award given to NCAA gymnasts who exhibit leadership, gymnastics excellence dedication and sportsmanship. Kyle achieved the status of NCAA of All-american during his career at the University of Illinois and also served as a team captain. Kyle graduated with a degree in communications and acted as the assistant coach at the University of Illinois. Later Kyle moved on to the University of Minnesota and became the assistant coach for Fred Roethlesberger and the Golden Gophers. Kyle was a director at Midwest Gymnastics Center in Arden Hills, MN where he further honed his skills teaching all levels of gymnastics including pre-school, recreational, competitive teams and athletes with special needs. While directing the team program in Minnesota, Kyle also served USA Gymnastics as the Minnesota Men's State Chairmen.
